Provided bellow is a list of localities that have passed the Payday Lending Act: the Staunton II Resolution in the year 2010.
 
This Act places a 36% cap on payday lenders who often charge any where from 400% to 700% interest on their 'loans'
Some of these localities have passed resolutions to send to the General Assembly, some have advocated a 36% cap in their Legislative statements, and some are part of a Planning District Program that asks the General Assembly to cap payday lending at 36%.
